During 1803 after the treaty of Surji-Anjangaon the Haryana region came under British empire and later merged with North west Provinces


Earlier it was part of Delhi territory but after 1857 revolt it was merged with Punjab province as political punishment in 1858, the british policies hugely affected the development of this region in the sphere of social, education, economic and political.


After independence Haryana remained part of Punjab & it became separate state in November 1 1966 under Punjab reorganization act

  2. Organic methods of production like Crop rotation, Agroforestry & Permaculture leave nutrients to soil and helps to solve soil degradation

  3. Afforestation, reforestation and restoration measures helps to solve land degradation

  4. Early detection & intervention, improved healthcare systems, nutrition education & nutrition supplementation helps to reduce malnutrition among children

  5. Providing birth certificate on same day of birth, community awareness programs on need for all genders for effective functioning of society helps to reduce sex selective abortions, promote female education & overall Sex Ratio in long run

  6. Equity tax helps to reduce regional disparity in growth
