Our Constitution came to force on 26th January 1950, in the original constitution there were Preamble, 395 articles which were divided into 22 parts along with 8 schedules
As per January 2023 status, there were Preamble, 470 articles which were grouped into 25 parts along with 12 schedules
In 42nd Amendment our preamble got amended and words Socialist & Secular added to "Sovereign Democratic Republic" and word Integrity added to the phrase "Unity of the Nation"
